Does that mean no new cases in San Angelo today? That is what most of us are looking at. If the San Angelo count stays the same please put it in the title instead of trying to scare people that are already stressed.

... the headline for this article is nothing but "click bait" to get the reader to click and read the article. There's not one word about ... what the headline suggests! I read all the other comments/ rants that others shared their opinions about and ... as I read these comments... it's clear to me that this round of comments has turned into a discussion between liberals and conservatives... arguing back and forth about the President and whether he's a good president or a bad president. The topic here on this article ... was supposed to be about a ICU nurse testing positive for the virus... and not about who thinks President Trump is a good President or a bad President. So, this article was just to get the reader to click and read! It's a sad, sad situation when even the news media that we as readers ... can not depend on ... the news source we choose to follow... can't stay on topic!

This is the number that the public sheep should pay attention to. It is the % of Chinese Wuhan Bateater Virus deaths that had previous underlying health conditions. So, if you do not have an underlying health condition, only .09% of you will die from the Skyisfalling Media Panic Virus. If you are healthy, the next time your wear gloves or masks or avoid human contact like the plague, think about how ridiculous you look. Sheep

Obesity is an underlying health condition. What percentage of Americans are overweight? You non thinking lie spreading poptart.

...wearing a mask when you laughed at that comment Rita R. made? If you weren't... you should have been since you feel everyone should have a mask on... at all time ... no matter what. What if someone was in close proximity of you spewing out your drink when you laughed? Then ... according to you ... and your mind set of wearing a mask ... are part of the problem.

People do not need to wear the mask if they are not sick and have not been "Down with the Sickness "!! I see people driving down my street... alone in their vehicle... wearing a mask ... when there is no need to wear a mask if you are not "Down with the Sickness " or have not been "Down with the sickness " in the past ! Stop trying to make people feel like they need to wear a mask ... all the time ! It's silly and unnecessary... unless a person is ... "Down with the Sickness "!

Trump labeled it a hoax, he knows zero about infectious diseases. He talked about using instinct to open the economy. It was Trumps instinct that allowed the virus to spread like wildfire. That hoax comment his embedded in some of his supporters heads and nothing will change their minds. The Medical experts say it will be time to open the economy when a vaccine or therapy for the virus is a reality in fact. It is amusing to hear people yelling hoax or conspiracy, seriously does anyone believe there could possibly be a worldwide conspiracy?

From Trump's speech at Feb. 28 rally: "Now the Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus, you know that right? Coronavirus, they’re politicizing it. We did one of the great jobs. You say, “How’s President Trump doing?” They go, “Oh, not good, not good.” They have no clue. They don’t have any clue. They can’t even count their votes in Iowa. They can’t even count. No, they can’t. They can’t count their votes. "One of my people came up to me and said, “Mr. President, they tried to beat you on Russia, Russia, Russia.” That didn’t work out too well. They couldn’t do it. They tried the impeachment hoax. That was on a perfect conversation. They tried anything. They tried it over and over. They’d been doing it since you got in. It’s all turning. They lost. It’s all turning. Think of it. Think of it. And this is their new hoax." Details: https://www.factcheck.org/2020/04/democratic-ad-twists-trumps-hoax-comment/

"So the overwhelming bulk of the ad is on target. But the beginning is deceptive."

The bottom line is the bulk of the ad accurately paints Trump as the stumbling, bumbling, fumbling prevaricating fool thinking minds know him to be.

It shows him to be someone who communicates using colloquial language - something that America's liberal leftist elites consider to be beneath them. The same elites who consider themselves fledgling versions of China's leftist (Communist) elites and who consider most of America, i.e. "flyover country," to be full of "stumbling, bumbling, fumbling fools," though they seem to consider prevarication to be their own exclusive privilege. After all, who are the salt-of-the-Earth, "salty" hoi polloi to question the edicts of their grand leftist cathedral, anyway?

The coronavirus is foe that Trump cannot bluff or BS his way around. The efforts to remove Trump failed not because of anything other than GOP stonewalling and refusal to follow the standard procedure. Ah but the coronavirus is a different kind of challenge, Trump has not even a small clue of when this virus will be controlled, gut instinct as Trump calls it is why we have the virus running out control and infecting and taking lives. Everything Trump dislikes is a democratic hoax he claims and his handling of the virus is shameful. Since fact check states that Trump didn't call the virus a hoax why is much of his base labeling it a hoax?

Trump on coronavirus:

"But we have it so well under control. I mean, we really have done a very good job."
— Donald Trump, Feb. 26, 2020

With just 4% of the world's population, the US has 31% of global coronavirus cases and 24% of coronavirus deaths.

BTW the quote came from the official White House website. The stable genius is in way over his head, spewing all sorts on dangerous nonsense.

Funny how the industrialized world is somehow hardest hit despite having better medical capacities than poorer nations. I suppose that if we just flipped COVID-19 the bird like some third world countries have done, our numbers would "somehow" go down.

You're right, Bill. Trump is a great man, but the COVID-19's kung fu is microscopic and unseen, and thus through the power of the small, the kung flu is greater. America has many powerful bombs, but COVID-19 has only slightly greater effects than the mere ordinary flu and has stopped many nations, thus through the power of modesty the kung flu is greater. Republicans are as practical as Confucianists, yet COVID-19 is as inscrutable as the opaqueness of Communist officials, thus through mysteriousness the kung flu is greater.

Truly, Bill, who finds fact in no fact is a fool, and thus a sage amongst us all.

so gullible and willfully ignorant. Instead of repeating each other about a deliberately false statement, why don't you look it up for yourself. You'll save yourself the embarrassment of being wrong.

Was it really worth shutting down our oilfields, retail outlets, and basically every small business known to man for 99 cases????????

You know? Hard to say. It's almost like the analogy of the sinking ship where the people on the sinking side are screaming that the boat is sinking, and the people on the other end are saying, "why are you scared?! This boat is fine, it's never been further from the water than it is now!" Do you smell what I'm stepping in? Do you understand that places like Italy and france, NYC, LA, Michigan, Louisiana, etc. are all examples of what happened when these areas shut down too little too late? Just because you're on the side of the boat that has it's ass up in the air doesnt mean that you weren't or aren't in danger. We shut down in time and stopped the spread. We are seeing the best case scenario for our area. BEST case scenario. So, was it necessary? Maybe, maybe not. People will typically forget an overreaction to a threat and go about their lives afterward, but under reactions are what we have written in history books...
