SAN ANGELO, TX – The Sunset Mall has officially closed it's doors to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
The mall announced Wednesday that they will be closing down the entire complex to go along with the City of San Angelo stay home, stay safe declaration.
According tot the Sunset Mall, they will be closed to the public effective 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2020, pursuant to City of San Angelo’s April 1, 2020 Stay Home, Stay Safe Declaration. The mall will remain closed until April 30 ,2020 unless terminated sooner.
"The health and well-being of our employees, retailers and shoppers is our top priority." said a Facebook Post from Sunset Mall. "We will continue to follow the direction of the CDC and state/local authorities, but for now, Sunset Mall will be closed."

Well Good... Maybe this will create such a hardship on Conn's Home Plus that they will have to leave their doors locked forever so they will quit their"Conn" tactics on people who they strong arm into financing their triple over priced junk crap with incredibly insane interest rates...They are doing nobody in this town any good other than pumping their bank account full of the other peoples hard earned dollars....

PermalinkNow that Angelo has closed the public ramps at Twin Buttes and Nasworthy, why hasn't CRMWD closed the public ramps at OH Ivie? The Angelo anglers will just fish at OH Ivie more, in addition to those from Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, etc, etc. There's no telling whose nasty, germy hands have been on the dock handrails. If CRMWD doesn't do the safe/right thing, maybe it's time to get the state involved....
