Close to 99% of the deaths in Italy were elderly people (average age, 80) with various comorbidities. These key factors are commonly missing from the narratives about Italy's outbreak.
In regards to the 70 year old traveler, we don't need his name or address, but releasing something as simple as where he was believed to have travelled before his diagnosis would be an invaluable piece of information, for the people he's come into contact with, as well as the public.
Factual information and proper perspective is what we need, not detached stats and ambiguity.
