Police: Suspect Faces Federal Charges for Possessing Lewd Images of Children

Abilene, TX – An Abilene man faces federal charges after being caught with child porn.

According to KTXS, Donald Mathew Basta was arrested back in October after his employer alleged they found child porn on a USB drive that Basta brought to work.

The Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant on Basta’s home and according to police, he admitted to possessing and distributing child pornography.

A federal grand jury indicted Basta in December and was arrested on the federal charges on Wednesday.
