PermalinkFirst of all, I'm not going to disrespect your friend or your family and I am sorry for your loss, but there are a few questions I have, questions I'm sure other readers have and questions you should be asking yourself. If your friend was the kind of person you are telling us about in your comment, then why do the law enforcement officials have a mug shot of him dressed in the orange jump suit? Why didn't your friend stop when the patrolman try to stop him for a traffic violation? Why did he try to run? Why did he try to avoid being caught? He most likely would still be alive if he had nothing to hide from the police. Those are the questions that I have after reading your comment. These questions are not to be taken as disrespect but one has to question " Why didn't he just stop and why did he feel like he needed to avoid being possibly arrested or even questioned by the law enforcement officers. It is a terrible tragedy when anyone loses their life , especially when he ... himself could have avoided this terrible tragedy.

PermalinkSeven felony cases in Tom Green County in the last 5 years. A real pillar of the community. What a shame he never received the outstanding young citizen award.

PermalinkDon't need more people that run from the police, drive at high rates of speed without consideration for others, and think that they can get away with anything they want here in San Angelo. You can say he was a good person Ms. Tucker, but it appears that he wasn't and is now no longer a burden to law enforcement.
