SAN ANGELO, TX – A fast moving line of showers and thunderstorms is blowing across west Texas Tuesday evening bringing high winds and rain.
According to the National Weather Service office in San Angelo, rain is expected across the Concho Valley between 7 p.m. and midnight Tuesday.
The forecast calls for showers, mainly before midnight. Low around 46. South southeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. Higher amounts of precipitation can be expected with stronger storms.
The rain will be short lived though; Wednesday morning it'll be cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 66. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
The remainder of the seven day forecast calls for mostly clear skies and seasonal temperatures.
