UPDATE: Police Seeking Information on Early Morning Shooting Near School

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Just before 2:30 a.m., San Angelo Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Volney Street for the report of a shooting victim. 

As we reported earlier, upon arrival, officers located a 14-year-old male who was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The officers rendered first aid to the teen before his transport to a nearby hospital. He is reportedly in stable condition.

The initial investigation indicates that this is an isolated incident and is not a random act of violence.
