You Wanted Tickets to the Rodeo's 2020 Cinch Chute Out? Too Bad. Tickets Sold Out Online Within 10 Minutes This Morning.

SAN ANGELO, TX – If you didn't get your tickets to the Cinch Chute Out early Tuesday morning you're out of luck as the final performance of the 88th annual San Angelo Rodeo sold out online within minutes.

Tickets for all twelve rodeo performances went on sale at the coliseum box office and online at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning and San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo Senior Manager Brittini Kasczyk said the popular Cinch Chute Out performance on Saturday, Feb. 15 sold out quickly.  "We tried to tell the online ticket vendor how big ticket sales were in San Angelo,"  Kasczyk said.

In years past, people lined up for hours outside the box office to purchase tickets when they went on sale.  Kasczyk says they began online ticket sales in 2018. "About 90 percent of ticket sales have been online today with about ten percent at the box office.  You could see people in line leave after they purchased their tickets on their phones."

Tickets for other performances are selling quickly as well. "The PRCA Short-Go (Friday, Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m.) still has a few tickets available and the X-treme Bulls (Sunday, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m.) is going fast,"  said Kasczyk.  "The main bulk of what we've seen today is the Saturday night performances are pretty big and then X-treme Bulls are our best sellers."

Tickets are still available for all the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday performances of the 88th annual San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo here.

The 88th annual San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo runs from Wed. Jan. 22, 2020 to Sat. Feb. 15, 2020. The first event is the Junior Food Challenge at 8 a.m., Wed. Jan. 22 and the final event is the Junior Premium Sale at 2 p.m. Feb. 15 2020.

Good luck getting tickets to the final Friday night finals or Saturday's Cinch Shootout as almost all of the tickets were already sold prior to them being available to the General Public. All the sponsors get first dubs at the tickets so there are virtually none available for the General Public when they open them up to sell. All that is left are the ones in the corners or single seats not taken. I wish the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo would change this policy and allow the General Public to have equal access to ALL the seats, not just slim pickings..
