SAN ANGELO, TX -- The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office arrested a man Saturday for threatening to kill multiple people while he had a number of weapons on him.
According to court documents, on November 30, the TGSO were dispatched to the 6600 block of Goodland Loop for the report of a man threatening to kill his neighbors.
When deputies arrived, they found James Padier, 31, sitting in the middle of the road armed with a 12-gauge shotgun. Deputies immediately told Padier to drop the weapon.
His response was screaming while lifting the gun in the air and then throwing it to the side. Deputies then detained Padier and found a .38 black semi-automatic pistol, a sword, and a cross bow on his person.
Further investigation revealed that the Padier had gotten into an argument with the neighbors and threatened to kill everyone. He did at one point fire off the shotgun.
During the arrest, Padier is also accused of kicking, attempting to pull away from deputies and even attempting to bite one of them.
Padier is charged with deadly conduct by discharging a firearm. His bond was set at $20,000 and was released at Sunday at 1:58 p.m.
