WATCH: Gypsy Vanner Shopping Expo Kicks Off to Great Success

SAN ANGELO, TX - The first-ever Gypsy Vanner Shopping Expo kicked off with a lot of success this weekend. The event is a new shopping experience that brings in local and regional merchants with unique items.

For just $5, shoppers can check out everything the dozens of booths have to offer. The first day was jampacked with visitors, with many of them lining up outside the coliseum before the doors opened.

Burlap & Paisley Boutique and Salon put the event together and are very thankful for the support the community and visitors have given them on their first day.

"We have just had a flood of people all day and it has been more than we can hope for," said Allie Owens, of Burlap & Paisley's. 

There will be hourly giveaways and great music planned for Sunday, so make sure to stop by the coliseum from 10 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

On Sunday, a special giveaway item will be a hand-painted carousel animal from 1910 that is valued at over $300.

Today's shoppers had the opportunity to enjoy the musical talents of Dave Fenley, a former contestant on The Voice. On Sunday, Sunny Sweeny will be headlining the afternoon beginning at 3:30 p.m. A lucky winner will take home a Tarpley's guitar, signed by both Dave and Sunny. All proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will be donated to the Concho Valley Home for Girls. (Winner need not be present to win.)

Whether its clothes, accessories, home decor, or the perfect Christmas gift there is something for everyone. Concessions will be open and adult shoppers can purchase alcoholic beverages at the expo.
