SAN ANGELO, TX -- The San Angelo Police Department arrested a man over the weekend for shooting a gun in a residential neighborhood.
According the affidavit signed by Justice of the Peace Susan Werner, on October 26, the San Angelo Police Department responded to a shots fired call on the 300 block of E 26th.
When they arrived, Police met with a man who said that Emilio Lopez, 32, threatened to kill and fired a pistol in front of him.
The victim stated that he knew Lopez for about a year and half and assumed they were friends. On Saturday the victim says he went to Lopez's home because he wanted to "smoke" with him.
A witness on scene says he saw Lopez answer the door before going back inside to grab a gun. When he returned to the door with the gun, Lopez allegedly threatened to kill the victim by pointing the weapon at the victims head and chest. This is when Lopez fired the gun towards multiple houses.
After the shot was fired, the two got away from the gunman and called the police.
Lopez is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is currently in the Tom Green County Jail and his bond is set at $25,000. If he is released he can have no contact with the victim.

"Come over, I wanna smoke with you.", or "Come over, I wanna smoke you."
On this side of town, it's a coin toss. Bring your blunt wraps, as well as a good pair of running shoes.
