What started as a normal day in the 100 block of Medina became quite a productive one for the SAPD, when they recovered stolen property and arrested a wanted man at around 1:30 p.m. Friday.
Joshua Clark (26) and Charlotte Everson (29) had been hanging out in a field behind a vacant house, chopping up a car and guarding some stolen goods when the vehicle-hacking caught the attention of Patrol Officer Montez.
After making contact, Officer Montez determined the identity of the two, and recognized a few large welding tanks belonging to Cross Texas Welding. Detective Shah was called to the scene and the suspects, who had hacking the vehicle for scrap metal, stated that the tanks had been leased to B&W Trailer. They then stated they’d received the tanks from someone else.
Shah and Montez also seized Accetal Gas cylinders, oxygen cylinders, and some cutting torches with hoses and gauges to Prevent the Consequences of Theft.
Just when they thought they excitement was over, the officers noticed a 36-year-old wanted man, Alvie Paul Sisk, out on a stroll. Sisk was stopped and arrested for numerous outstanding county and city warrants.
