#COVER1 Bobcats Preview: Gearing Up For Weatherford's Future SEC Quarterback
WEATHERFORD, TX -- When Friday night rolls around at San Angelo Stadium the San Angelo Central Bobcats are in for a showdown with the 4-0 Weatherford Kangaroos to open the district season.
The Bobcats will not only welcome to town a much improved Weatherford program from a year ago that finished 4-7 while clinching a playoff berth, but the program's number one ranked pro style quarterback in Texas Ken Seals.
The Vanderbilt commit threw for 2,654 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2018, but through 4 games this season Seals has put up video game like numbers tossing for 1,070 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Success is something new to the Kangaroo program that's only experienced two 5 win seasons in the last decade, but this season the Kangaroos are looking for some payback after falling just against the Central Bobcats in 2018, 26-21.
The Kangaroos talk the revival of the program, their future SEC quarterback, and the thought of redemption as they get ready to face the 2-2 Central Bobcats on Friday at 7pm at San Angelo Stadium.
