WATCH: Wrong Way Cyclist Struck by Car

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A man on a bicycle was injured Friday afternoon along the frontage road of west Houston Harte at Melrose Ave. when he was struck by a car.  

According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Bradshaw, the cyclist was eastbound on the westbound frontage road riding against the traffic.  A woman driving a passenger vehicle was stopped at the intersection and said she looked left for oncoming traffic and pulled out onto the frontage road.

The cyclist rode in front of the vehicle and was struck.  He received minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. 

The cyclist was issued a written warning for going the wrong way on a one way street.

These meth morons never obey traffic laws when walking or biking. I guess since they think they are beating the odds sucking up these poisons in their body that zippin through traffic on theirs bikes isn't no big deal.
