Authorities Investigating Mysterious Death on the Border

BREWSTER CO. TX -- The Brewster County Sheriff's Office and the US Border Patrol are investigating a mysterious death that occurred over the weekend.

According to the BCSO, on July 25 they received a tip about a man that had died attempting to enter the US though the Mexico-US border in Brewster County.

BSCO and US border patrol searched for the body using aircraft, ATVs, and men on foot. After a full day of searching, they located the body in the southeastern part of the county.

The body has been sent to determine the cause of death.

This is currently an on-going investigation.
