TxDOT: Bell St. Bridge at Loop 306 Closed for Demolition Work

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Starting around 9 o'clock this morning, drivers will not be able to cross over US 67 on Bell St.

According to information from the Texas Department of Transportation, the bridge will be closed to traffic as preparations are made to demolish the damaged parts of the structure.

As we reported May 12, the Bell Street overpass was hit by an oversized load of windmill components that morning.

There were no injuries reported. The bridge and that the portion of the Houston Harte Expressway were closed due to the crash.

There is visible damage to the metal beam underneath bridge structure.

LMBO....... I think this is funny as can be. Some trucking companies insurance is going to have to pay out hundreds of thousands of dollars and then afterwards, the trucking company will have to pay sky rocket high premiums to ever obtain insurance again all because some high school drop out who reads on a 3rd grade level was somehow able to get a CDL license to drive a truck..........

The last time I was in the DL Office, not a freak’n one of the dirtbags waiting to take the CDL test could speak English!! Yeah, it’s REAL hard to get...like candy.
