SAN ANGELO, TX -- The driver of a Toyota Prius escaped serious injury Tuesday morning when an 18-wheeler crashed into the car sending it into a fence.
The 18-wheeler was leaving the Walmart Super Center parking lot on 29th St. and N. Bryant Blvd and the Prius was headed into the parking lot on the same street.

According to investigating San Angelo Police officers at the scene, no citations were issued and no one was transported to the hospital.

The management of these Walmart's need to prohibit trucks entering and parking. As seen here, they almost killed a customer trying to leave from trying to drive down a twisting lane not designed for them to travel on in the first place. Their parking lots have turned into sleazy truck stops, complete with drug deliveries and prostitution for the drivers who park and stay over night in the parking lots. And, they take up more than half the parking spaces in the lot with 15 or more trucks each night staying in them......

PermalinkYantis needs to check his facts before publishing. That wasn't an 18-wheeler although it was a BIG truck. It was a Ford F-350 dually, but no Big Rig, At the time of day he was pulling in, the sun was in his eyes and he did not see her until it was too late.
