SAN ANGELO, TX -- The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center in Norman, OK has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for West Texas including Tom Green County until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
According to the NWS, a few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening across all of West Central Texas.
Large hail, damaging winds, and dangerous cloud to ground lightning will be the main hazards with these storms. However, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
A severe thunderstorm watch means conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorm development.
There is a 40 percent chance of rain through Thursday night increasing to 50 percent by Friday.
This is a developing situation.

These idiots making weather predictions need to just admit they suck and should go out and find an honest job because they are failures at what they're currently doing. Today is day #4 that we've been told we will have rain, storms with hail and tornado's and haven't even gotten a sprinkle yet.............
