Suspect Charged in North Side Double Homicide

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Thursday evening, Detectives with the San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division obtained two warrants of arrest for the offense of Murder for 36-year-old Dwayne Chance Chadwick.

Chadwick is accused of murdering 27-year-old Jared Anthony Lohse and 50-year-old Jack Harris Jr. — the two men found dead inside a burning house in the 4800 block of North Chadbourne on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.  Preliminary autopsy reports for Lohse and Harris determined the manner of death was homicide resulting from gunshots wounds.

Chadwick, who was developed as a suspect early on in the investigation, was already in custody at the Tom Green County Jail on unrelated charges when the murder complaints were signed.  Chadwick’s bond was set at two million dollars.
