WATCH: Runaway Car at Carwash Causes Chaos on Sherwood Way

SAN ANGELO, TX -- An unoccupied SUV from a carwash caused chaos on Sherwood Way Friday afternoon blocking traffic.

According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Bradshaw, the workers at Shine Brite Car Wash in the 4200 block of Sherwood Way had just got the car out of the carwash and failed to set the parking brake.

The SUV rolled out into traffic on Sherwood Way and was struck by a westbound brown GMC SUV.

The SUV then traveled across the lanes on Sherwood Way into the Pinkies Liquor Store parking lot and then jumped the curb into the Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot.

Two witnesses managed to stop the unoccupied SUV before it damaged any vehicles in the parking lot.

Officer Bradshaw says no citations were issued and no one was injured in the crash.
