SAN ANGELO, TX -- A Christoval man was arrested Monday and charged with bigamy, which is being married to more than one spouse at a time.
Timothy Lane Reeves,58, was booked and released Monday from the Tom Green County jail according to jail records.
The date of the offense is listed as Sept. 27, 2018.
According to reports, Reeves wasn't divorced from his first wife when he married another woman in Oklahoma in Sept. 2018 while still married to his first spouse.
Bigamy is a third degree felony in Texas punishable by up to ten years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
Reeves was released on a $10,000 bond Monday afternoon.
