Police Searching for Armed Pinkyless Robber

MERKEL, TX -- Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a driver at gunpoint on Wednesday.

The victim had been stopped at a stop sign when the suspect approached the vehicle with a gun and robbed them.

Police say the suspect was described as a Hispanic or dark-complected Caucasian with 'bright' blue eyes.

He stands about 6 feet tall and weighs around 170 pounds. He also may be missing part of his pinky finger on one of his hands.

During the robbery, the suspect was wearing blue jeans, a dark hoodie, a black face mask that only exposed his eyes, and white shoes.

The suspect fled on foot following the robbery. 

If you see the man, call police immediately. Do not approach the man because he is considered armed and dangerous.
