First Trailer From San Angelo Filmed Movie to be Released Tonight

SAN ANGELO, TX-- The first trailer for the movie Sub Rosa is set to be released on Facebook tonight.

Those waiting to get a glimpse of the movie can see it on the film's Facebook page tonight at 7:30 p.m.

The film centers around American medical students stuck in Mexico during the height of narco-terrorism, according to director and producer Charles Landers.

It features stars like Sam Trammell, of HBO's True Blood; Thomas Lennon, known well for his role as Lt. Dangle in Comedy Central's Reno 911; Robert Peters, Chelsea Dickens, an up-and-coming actress; and a host of local faces.

In order to get that local flair, directors held open casting calls in San Angelo to fill the open movie roles.

The film is set to be released this year, according to the film's website.
