SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo garbage customers can dispose of their non-artificial Christmas trees on their bulk trash pickup day.
Trees should be left near tan garbage bins on customers’ bulk pickup day. Bulk service alternates weekly with curbside recycling. For customers unsure which service they will receive on a given week, an interactive map and calendar are posted at cosatx.us/solidwaste under the “Links” label on the right side of the page.
Trees can also be taken to the Foster Communications Coliseum parking lot, 50 E. 43rd St., from Wednesday, Dec. 26, through Sunday, Jan. 6. Once all ornaments and decorations have been removed, trees can be dropped off at any time inside the marked area. The City will run the trees through a chipper.
Mulch from the chippers is available for free at the City’s landfill, 3002 Old Ballinger Highway. The landfill is open 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays.

but lots of these crap haulers in town will throw them in our unused alleys.
Or out at the lakes or on the road sides.
