Busy Knickerbocker Rd. Intersection Signal Light Restored

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The signal light at the intersection of Knickerbocker Rd. and Valleyview Dr. has been restored as of Thursday morning. 

According to the City of San Angelo, the signal light pole was damaged on Nov. 14 when an oversized load snagged the pole.  

COSA Public Information Officer Anthony Wilson the signal light has been repaired, "The traffic signal at Knickerbocker Road and Valleyview Drive that was damaged Nov. 14 has been repaired and is back in service as of this morning. The repair was delayed as we awaited the delivery of the necessary parts from the manufacturer. We apologize for any inconveniences."

As we reported the day the signal light was damaged, the signal light is owned and operated by the City of San Angelo. 

The Texas Department of Transportation assisted in clearing the intersection.

COSA finally repaired and restored the signal light after how many wrecks in that intersection since the signal was damaged? I guess progress takes its good sweet time in San Angelo.

This light has not been knocked out as long as the one on S. Brant and Concho. When is it going to be fixed. Oh wait, It's not located near Bentwood housing.
