VANCOURT, TX -- A two vehicle crash Halloween night has slowed traffic on U.S. 87 near Vancourt south of Wall.
Wall Volunteer firefighters are on the scene along with Department of Public Safety Troopers and Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies.
The crash appears to be in an area where the road was under construction.
Unconfirmed reports say at least one person was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
This is a developing story.

PermalinkI drove this section of US 87 in my 3500HD the same day as this accident, and they have one lane torn out to be repaved and cones so far into the open lane that in spots it was impossible to keep all of a dually's tires on the pavement. It is particularly bad on the west bound side. I was on it during the day and it was scary to drive. I'm surprised there aren't multiple accidents on that section every night.
