Criminal Street Gang Member Arrested after Street Crimes Division Finds Drugs, Guns, Cash during Search Warrant Operation on West 16th

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- (Press Release) Members of the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division executed a search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of West 16th St. Wednesday.   

The warrant named 20-year-old Kelien Thompson to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana at the residence.  

Thompson tried to flee the response by jumping out a window.  He was taken into custody without incident and treated for numerous lacerations he sustained in his attempted flight.

During a search of the residence Investigators located and seized a quantity of marijuana, Xanax, three (3) firearms, and approximately $1,500.00 dollars in U.S. Currency.

Thompson was charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3.  

A second occupant, 20-year-old Anthony Rivera, was also charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana.

The Department’s Patrol and Criminal Investigations Divisions, Anti-Crime Unit, and members of the Center for Tactical Medicine assisted with today’s operation.
