Hit & Run Crash and Asleep at the Wheel Top Weekend Arrest Blotter

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Police Department still had a busy weekend despite the rainy days. The following are people and their charges from the SAPD arrest blotter: 

Kenneth Shay Henderson III, 37, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury-family violence on Friday following a domestic violence investigation in the unit block of W. 29th Street.

Victoria Gabrielle Troncoso, 19, was arrested for driver’s license-fail to display and duty on striking unattended vehicle on Friday after police were dispatched to the area of Johnson and Harvard for the report of a reckless driver that struck a parked vehicle and fled the scene striking curbs and disregarding a stop sign. Troncoso also received a citation for minor in consumption of alcohol and minor in possession of alcohol during the investigation.

Calvin Anthony Cotto, 21, was arrested for evading arrest detention and assault causes bodily injury on Saturday in the 200 block of La Salle. Officers were in the immediate area on an unrelated call when they heard and subsequently observed Cotto’s assault on a 23-year-old female victim.

Natalie Rose Burgins, 17, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury-family violence on Saturday following a family violence investigation in the 200 block of E. Avenue J.

Jacob Galvan, 25, was arrested for driving while intoxicated 2nd on Sunday after police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Greenwood for the report of a vehicle in the roadway. Officers located Galvan asleep behind the wheel when the vehicle was still in drive. Officers also discovered Galvan’s vehicle had collided with a mailbox.

 Jorge Alberto Maldonado, 36, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury-family violence, possession of marijuana, and further detained on ICE Hold on Sunday following a domestic violence investigation near North and Howard.

If you are caught asleep at the wheel with the car still in drive it should be prison time.
But he will be back out trying for the third DWI.
Maybe this time he will take out a family of five.
