Driver Veers off Loop 306 Crashing into a Light Pole

SAN ANGELO, TX-- One driver escaped injury after veering off Loop 306 Thursday afternoon.

The white Chevy Tahoe crashed into a light pole after leaving the roadway heading westbound on Loop 306 near Foster Rd.

The vehicle then came to a rest on the other side of the road.

San Angelo Police Investigating officer Solsbery said nobody was injured in the wreck.

Texas Department of Transportation crews helped secure the light pole and direct traffic around the crash.  

There was no word if any citations were issued.
