Crash Blocks Traffic on Johnson St. at Ave. J

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- One person was hospitalized after a two vehicle crash on Johnson St. at Avenue J. Wednesday afternoon. 

According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer K. Green, a silver Honda Accord was traveling south on Johnson St when a white Ford F150 ran a stop sign at the intersection of Avenue J. 

The vehicles collided in the intersection blocking traffic.  

The driver of the Honda sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.  

According to officer Green, the driver of the F150 was issued a citation for disregarding a stop sign.  

Traffic was detoured at the intersection for about 45 minutes while the vehicles were towed and the investigation completed.
