SAN ANGELO, TX -- The driver of a tractor trailer rig attempting to make a delivery at Wienerschnitzel on Sherwood Way cut the corner too close Tuesday evening clipping an electric power pole and snarling traffic.

According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Welch, the driver from Dallas was attempting to turn into the Wienerschnitzel parking lot when the trailer struck the power pole snapping it.

See the pictures above.

SAPD blocked traffic at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Ave. N while AEP crews worked to make the area safe to remove the tractor trailer.

Officer Welch says the driver of the tractor trailer will be cited for making an unsafe turn.

No one was injured in the crash.

I think if I were the owner of that company, since the driver is not any more competent and careful with my property than that, I'd have sent the driver of the truck down to the local bus station to catch a bus ride home while I sent another driver to San Angelo to pick up my property.
