El Paso Man Lights Meth Pipe Next to Police, Promptly Gets Arrested

 

EL PASO, TX-- A man was put behind bars Friday afternoon after allegedly lighting a meth pipe in a car next to police officers at a stop light.

According to KFOX in El Paso, Frederick Brown, 49, was at a stop light in the 6600 block of Montana Ave., one lane over from officers with the Pebble Hills Regional Command Center, when he tried to light a meth pipe in plain sight.

Officers then conducted a traffic stop and found Brown in possession several clear bulb pipes, .41 ounces of marijuana and 22.7 grams of crystal meth, according to police.

Brown was booked into the El Paso County Jail with a $30,000 bond.
