Police Nab Suspect in Early Morning Convenience Store Robbery

 

SAN ANGELO, TX-- A teenaged girl sought in a weekend Aggravated Robbery at a local convenience store has been apprehended. 

The suspect, 15, was arrested on a Juvenile Pickup Order that was issued by Judge Brad Goodwin following an investigation that began on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the Stripes Convenience store located at 2701 Sunset Drive. 

Police were dispatched to the location around 4:35 a.m. for the report of an armed robbery involving a juvenile female that brandished a firearm and demanded a lighter and cigars from the clerk before fleeing the area in a black passenger car. 

Following a review of the store’s surveillance video and follow up investigation, the suspect was identified, located, and later interviewed. 

Following the interview, the juvenile was transported to the Tom Green County Juvenile Justice Center.
