PermalinkI worked 3rd shift kitchen on the unit, and it was common practice for 2 guards in the kitchen to watch over 12 of us... The article didn't say that she was the only guard in the kitchen, it just said that she was attacked in the secluded storage area... I do agree that a "firm hand" be dealt to send a message to all those who may consider following in his footsteps. In the early days of America, someone who killed and was sentenced to death was told that they need to prepare their soul because they were about to meet their creator and they carried out the justice quite swiftly, without referencing, I believe it was within a week.
