MIDLAND, TX — UPDATE: Detectives with the Midland Police Department believe that Julio Cesar Lopez-Beltran has left the Midland-Odessa area, according to CBS 7.
Beltran is accused of shooting David Morales in a Whataburger parking lot on Thursday morning.
Beltran is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone knows of his whereabouts, you are urged to call 911 and report the information.

Midland Police Department is searching for a man that is believed to be armed and dangerous.
According to CBS 7, officers are searching for Julio Cesar Lopez-Beltran. He is described as 5’11” and weighing 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is blind in his right eye.
Just before 2:00 a.m., officers were called to the Whataburger location at 2205 East I-20 for the report of a shooting.
Police say that Beltran was involved in a dispute with David Morales, 29, and another victim in the parking lot. The dispute escalated and police say Beltran shot Morales and the other victim.
Both victims were taken to the hospital, but Morales passed away from his injuries after arriving. The other victim has been released.
Law enforcement need help locating Beltran but it is believed that he is armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him is urged to dial 911 and report the information.

Someone help me, I don't use social media platforms. Is it just me, or do these "suspect" pictures come from the people's very own social media page? That's what many of them look like, I just can't be sure since I'm out of the loop.
It sure seems like law enforcement and the judicial system, have capitalized on social media profiles... Much to the dismay of the media outlet user's.

PermalinkThe copious amounts of personal information that people divulge to the public is ridiculous. As with anything that's free, YOU become the product. If you use Facebook, all of your contact info has become their property to be sold at will. If you've visited Facebook or it's affiliates on any of your mobile devices, Facebook and friends are now riding shotgun.
Members voluntarily create a living, breathing personal profile, complimented with regular updates of daily activities and details of where and with whom they did them.
Tell us who you were with, when you took the picture of your half eaten bowl of cereal.
Fun, isn't it?
Facebook is like a dog owner, who knows his loyal and simple friend will only swallow the pill if it's concealed in a tasty weenie.

PermalinkI did have facebook about 3 years ago, and I shut it down... Never used personal info, but it's still creepy. Just using an android phone is bad enough, Google tracks everything you do. I don't want to be that guy, the one that if something were to ever come up in life, has his social media site used against him... I plead the platform 5th.
