One Killed While Crossing Train Tracks in Odessa

ODESSA, TX — Early Tuesday morning, a person was found dead after being struck by a train in Odessa.

The tragedy occurred around 2:30 a.m. on a Crane train crossing, according to CBS 7.

Officers said the victim was hit as he was crossing the tracks at Crane and 1st Street.

Police identified the victim as Ryan Alan Theesfield, 18. Next of kin has been notified.

No foul play is suspected.

The investigation is ongoing.
