Explosives Experts Detonate Device Found in Brady

According to the Brady PD, the questionable ordnance was safely removed from business by members of both DPS and Ft. Hood’s Explosive Ordnance Teams and taken to the Brady Lake Gun Range area where it could be safely detonated.

Thank you to the members of both DPS EOD and the 709th Ordnance Battalion from Ft. Hood. Your expertise and professionalism were greatly appreciated.

BRADY, TX -- (Press Release) Brady Police along with Texas Rangers and the Department of Public Safety Explosive Ordnance Team are working on an explosive device this afternoon. 

According to the Brady PD, they are currently investigating a Korean War-era projectile found inside a local business in the 1100 Block of S. Bridge Street.

Law Enforcement Officials will release more information later.
