SAN ANGELO, TX — Yesterday, San Angelo police said they nabbed the fourth person accused of vandalizing Paintbrush Alley. Now, a groupi is in the process of establishing the Paintbrush Alley Restoration Fund. They are raining cash for the restoration of the artwork that was vandalized back in February.
Several local artists have volunteered to help repair, restore, and add new art to the location. The artists can volunteer their time, but they need help. The money will purchase supplies for the artists to do their magic restoring a San Angelo landmark.
As reported yesterday here, the four teens arrested, Zzyzx Benjamin Anglin, Jr., 18, Michael E. Combs, 18, Brycen Canion, 19, and Ingrid Macias, 18, were charged with State Jail Felony Criminal Mischief Graffiti.

PermalinkI and my associates would like to contribute our time and artistic expertise by collaborating with the project. Our style embodies a radical statement using the medium of aerosols (mostly red,) and incorporates the work of other artists into our own, superimposing varying levels of meaning that recontextualize the entire presentation.
