Cinemark Locations Ban Large Bags from Theaters

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Cinemark location here in San Angelo will be part of the companies new safety rules, by banning all large bags from their theaters in an effort to enhance the safety of guests and employees. 

The Cinemark Tinseltown located at 4425 Sherwood Way has placed a sign in the front of the lobby so patrons can see it as they come in. The ban on large bags will be effective Thursday Feb 22.

"Any bags or packages larger than 12" X 12" X 6" will not be permitted into the theater," stated the sign in multiple locations of the lobby. The exceptions to this will be medical equipment bags and diaper bags. 

As stated on the sign, the theaters will not accommodate the general public with bag checks or bag "check-in" areas, so prepare accordingly.
