Milagro Wine & Spirits Closes for Good After Tomorrow

SAN ANGELO, TX. – Milagro Wine and Spirits is closing its doors, as many know already after the owner, Jaymes Lopez posted a touching post on Facebook thanking his patrons for the years of support.

Thursday will be the last day the doors are opened for the small liquor, beer and wine store at the corner of S. Jackson and W. Avenue N. The liquor store has been a fixture at the corner for 11 years.

“I want to thank the people who made it possible for us to stay open 11 years,” said Lopez. “The relationships with my customers are what I will miss most.”

Lopez added that “closing the doors of Milagro’s was not a bad thing and it is time for my next chapter to begin.”

It is not known whether the doors will close early their last day open, but as of now it will be regular hours. The liquor, beer and wine are discounted for the remaining days they are open.

“Thank you to all my family, friends, extended family, and business family we made along this 11-year journey with Milagro,” finished Lopez.

Maybe some chicken place can go into that location.... Seems like there's no place within several hundred feet from there to get some chicken even if your life depended upon it......

It was actually written by Joe Lopez, not Jaymes. Jaymes would have been still in High School 11 years ago.
