SAN ANGELO, TX -- On Wednesday, 23 people were arrested in Tom Green County. One of the more humorus charges was for a criminal trespass where a man was found naked in a bathtub.
San Angelo Police were dispatched to the 200 blk of Howard St. at 3:02 a.m. for reports of a burglary in progress.
The homeowners awoke to discover a naked man, Dakotah Garrett McCormick, 24, in their bathtub and a struggle ensued, according to San Angelo Police Department.
Officers arrived and located McCormick and the homeowner still engaged in the struggle.
Upon noticing Police, McCormick attempted to flee into another room. However, McCormick was eventually taken into custody after a violent struggle.
A Taser was utilized against McCormick in response to his violent resistance.
McCormick was transported to Community Medical Center for treatment of an injury he sustained from being struck in the head by the homeowner with the homeowner’s gun. Once McCormick was cleared medically, he was transported to the Tom Green County Jail.
He was charged with criminal trespass of a habitation and resisting arrest search or transportation.
