Man Arrested After Road-Rage Led to Brutal Stabbing

 

SAN ANGELO, TEXAS – Between June 2-4, 60 individuals were arrested  in Tom Green County. One of the 60 arrested, was a man involved in a road-rage turned stabbing of a 32-year-old man. 

On March 5, 2017, Michel Lorenzo Sanchez, 31, caused serious bodily injury to the 32 year-old victim by stabbing him and striking him in the face with his foot.The victim sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Sanchez was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. Both charges were enhanced to First Degree Felonies.

Sanchez was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on June 4 at 9:22 a.m. with a $80,000 bond.

Furthermore, Sanchez has a total of nine charges on his record including, one count of robbery of a building and two counts of evading arrest. 

Overall, there were 29 arrests made from new complaints, 21 from arrest warrants and 10 from both complaints and warrants.
