SAN ANGELO, TX — Breitbart Texas took aim at San Angelo city hall’s dealings with Republic Services in a 22 paragraph piece this morning. Written by veteran reporter Merrill Hope, the piece details the way San Angelo City Hall consummated the trash contract with Republic in secret.
She reached out to mayoral candidates for their thoughts. All candidates except Tony Villarreal responded. “Commercial trash fees are some of the highest in the state now and developers have no options in terms of who they can use,” Brenda Gunter told Breitbart Texas about the monopoly deal. “Gunter voiced residential customer frustration. Many homeowners did not know their pickup location changed in the new deal from the back alleyway to front curbside,” the article states.
The interesting thing is city PR guy Anthony Wilson, who runs a $450,000 (annual budget) public relations operation for the city, not only declined to comment, but declined to comment for the mayor and all of the city staff, too.

Sooner or later we will find out the truth. Time goes by, people talk, paperwork surfaces, maybe the state steps in, etc. Maybe Dwayne, Anthony or Charlotte will have an attack of conscience; maybe the good Lord will give 'em a scare and it'll all come out. Hey Anthony, repent now, it's good for the soul!
