San Angelo Man Attempts Slick Theft of Essential Oils Off Doorstep

SAN ANGELO,TX- A 30-year-old San Angelo man was arrested this morning after he stole a package containing over $350.00 worth of Young Living Essential Oils off a doorstep in Paul Ann.

According to the San Angelo Police Department (SAPD), officers dispatched to the area of Elmo and Ricks Drive at around 9:25 a.m. for the report of a man stealing mail from a residence. Officers converged in the area and located a subject who matched the suspect’s description. He was found walking in the 1700 block of Ricks Dr., and was identified as Michael Fuentes, 30, of San Angelo.

Subsequent to the field investigation, officers discovered Fuentes in possession of a stolen package from a nearby residence, according to a press release.

Fuentes was arrested for Class B Theft of Property and transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident. The package was released to the owner.

The Department credits this apprehension to the concerned caller who was clearly looking out for fellow Paul Ann residents. The SAPD urges citizens who see suspicious activity in their neighborhood to call Police Dispatch at (325) 657-4315 or 911 for crimes in progress.

More effective would be to allow the public to watch the removal of a hand for the first conviction of theft..... Would almost cause theft to become non existent over night.
