Kerr County Man Arrested After Missing Person's Vehicle Found on Property

KERR COUNTY, TX- Kerr County Sheriff’s Office arrested Eric Daniel Auld, 36, regarding a missing person’s report of 26-year-old Magan King from San Antonio.

The investigation started on November 2 and led investigators to King’s last known location at Auld Ranch in west Kerr County, a Sheriff’s office press release stated.

On November 4, a search warrant was issued for 5600 Auld Ranch after probable cause was determined. The search was assisted by the Department of Public Safety (DPS) helicopter and several DPS Troopers, the Travis County Search and Recuse Unit and search dogs, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice search unit consisting of dogs and officers on horseback.

The search led to the vehicle that the victim was last seen in. It was located in a remote location on the ranch and was loaded on a trailer, according to the press release.

The search also led to other evidence not specified in the press release. The press release said an anthropologist team (forensic team) from Texas State University was on site yesterday to continue the search.
