SAPD Reports Six More Cases of Citywide Criminal Mischief

 

The San Angelo Police said this morning that officials have been taking multiple reports from victims throughout the city who have had vehicle and residential windows broken by large rocks.

"Based on the widespread damage, police believe the person (s) responsible are likely traveling in a vehicle," said SAPD. "Hundreds of dollars in damage has been reported and reports are still coming in."

Update 3:30 p.m.

Officer Tracy Gonzalez, public information officer for SAPD, said police are investigating 26 reports of criminal mischief where the offender(s) used rocks to destroy vehicle and residential windows. 

"Based on the widespread damage, police believe the person(s) responsible are likely traveling in a vehicle," she said. "The damage occurred sometime throughout the night."

As of 3 p.m. today, incidents were reported in the following areas (block number):

  • 3300 Tanglewood Dr.
  • 3500 Oxford Dr.
  • 3500 Clare Dr.  X2
  • 3800 Driftwood Dr.
  • 2100 Dartmouth Pl.
  • 4400 Southland Blvd.
  • 1500 Grierson St.
  • 2400 Oxford Ave.
  • 2700 SAC Ave.
  • 2400 Douglas Dr.
  • 2600 Parkview Dr.
  • 1600 Sunset Dr; 904
  • 5200 Valleyview Ct.
  • 5200 Valleyview Ct.
  • 1620 Paseo de Vaca
  • 904 N. Van Buren
  • 4100 Nottingham Trail
  • 2600 Rio Grande

SAPD announced today that there were six more reports of criminal mischief that occurred in across San Angelo.
