In the past 24 hours, 14 people made their way to the Tom Green County. Included in those arrests were Sherrod Malik Wilder, 19, and Taryn Makia Espinosa, 18. They were charged with Aggravated Kidnapping and Possession of a Dangerous Drug.
Officials with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office said last night deputies were dispatched to the 9700 block of Burma Road for a report of a terroristic threat. Before they arrived, the San Angelo Police Department contacted deputies and told them the victim, a juvenile, had called 9-1-1 after escaping from the suspects.
"The victim stated he had been kidnapped from a residence off of Burma Road and driven to San Angelo by the suspects," said TGCSO officials.
Tom Green County Criminal Investigation Division initiated an investigation, along with the San Angelo Police Department, and learned that the victim had been taken at gun point by the suspects. They drove the juvenile to San Angelo in an attempt to have him get money from an ATM machine.
"San Angelo Police Department Officers located the suspects at Rio Concho and Bell Street where they were detained," TGCSO stated. "Taryn Espinosa was arrested on an outstanding warrant from McCulloch County and for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance greater than 4 grams and less than 200 grams, which she had in her possession. A pistol was also recovered from Espinosa’s purse that matched the description of the pistol used in the Aggravated Kidnapping."
Both Wilder and Espinosa face first degree felonies punishable by five (5) to ninety-ninety (99) years, and/or a fine punishable up to $10,000.00.
The Tom Green County Criminal Investigation Division and SAPD are continuing a joint investigation into the circumstances that lead to this incident and arrests.
This is Wilder's 10th arrest in Tom Green County, and Espinosa's 5th.
Out of the 14 arrests, six people were arrested on new complaints, two people on both new complaints and warrants, and six had outstanding warrants only.
Here are the additional crimes to make the new complaint list:

Tom Green County Judicial Records for both "Actors" show extensive past criminal history. I hope that our Judicial System will move these two away from San Angelo for a long time. "BONZO AND CLAUDIA"
