San Angelo LIVE! asked readers if the presidential candidate they support in 2016 has changed since the beginning of election season. Out of 20 answers, SA LIVE! received 10 definite yeses to the question and 6 nos. Four interviewees mentioned that they wanted to vote for Ted Cruz at one point. Ben Carson, John Kasich, Jeb Bush also lost one potential voter apiece when they dropped out of the race.
The following responses stuck out to San Angelo LIVE!:
“I would have voted for Ben Carson, so I feel I have no other option than to vote for Trump,” one voter said. “A third party option would be great, but [I’m] worried that if I voted that way, it would give Hillary a good chance of winning... remember Ross Perot.”
The interviewee is referring to Henry Ross Perot, who was an independent presidential candidate in 1992 and a Reform party candidate in 1996.
“I have always voted Republican,” another reader said. “I can't in good conscience do that in this election.”
“LOL!” a third citizen said. “He's covering his hair with a baseball cap. That's it.”
San Angelo LIVE! assumes that the citizen is referencing the cap reading “make America great again” that Donald Trump often wears.

Well, if those who participated in the survey above get out to the polls and vote, it looks like "CHIEF VASQUEZ" is on the way out and he will be able to devote more time to "FUNKY MONKEY." Also I will be gaining a new City Council Member, Mr. Lane Carter. I can live with that! "TELLING IT LIKE IT IS"
