77-Year-Old Man Dies in Moped Crash on North Bryant

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A 77-year-old man died after crashing his moped on North Bryant Friday night, according to the San Angelo Police Department.

The crash happened around 8:50 p.m. on March 7, 2025. Police said the man was traveling northbound when his moped veered off the roadway and struck a curb, causing him to crash.

Authorities said the man was not wearing a helmet at the time. He was transported to Shannon Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The incident remains under investigation, and no further details have been released.
