Traffic Stop Leads to Discovery of Over 100 Grams of Meth

SAN ANGELO, TX — A traffic stop in San Angelo on Friday resulted in law enforcement discovering more than 100 grams of methamphetamine and $3,000 in cash, according to a release from the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office.

A sheriff's deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near North Bryant Boulevard and West 16th Street. During the stop, the deputy developed probable cause and conducted a search. The driver, Sheila Tatum, 60, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (more than 4 grams and less than 200 grams), which is a second-degree felony.
